Summer Conference 2022 Information      

Registration for the 2022 GVATA Summer Conference is now open.  The conference will take place at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center on July 10 – 13th in Tifton, GA.  Below is important information concerning the upcoming conference. 

Regpack Online Registration System Updates

GVATA will be using the Regpack online system for conference registration and for the collection of dues and fees.  You will need to create a new account for the upcoming year.  You will use this new account for both the 2022 Summer Conference and 2023 Mid-Winter Conference registration and payment. 

You will have the ability to access your Regpack account at any time during the year by logging into the system using your email address and password that you create.  Please do not create a new account if you forget your login credentials.  You can retrieve your password by clicking the Forgot Password? link.  If you are still having trouble please contact the Executive Secretary at for assistance in unlocking your account.

GVATA Summer Conference 2022 Registration

If you are requesting one school system invoice for all of the teachers in your school system, please have one teacher complete the following link for your system.  The single invoice will be emailed to all of the teachers in your system once the request has been processed.  It may take up to 5-7 days to generate an invoice.

All payments will need to be made online, by mailing in your check to the address below, or bringing the payment with you to the conference. We are excited to offer 5 online payment plan options.  The newest option will allow you to make your first payment when you register and then continue making monthly payments until December 1, 2022.  Please note that all accounts not paid in full by December 15, 2022 will be charged an additional $30 late fee.

If you are mailing in a school check or personal check for conference registration, please have it postmarked by July 5th and submit it to the address below.

The use of a debit card will not incur any processing fees.  However, the use of a credit card will be charged a 3.9% fee and e-checks will be charged a 1.5% fee.  When you enter your card number, the system will recognize it as a debit or credit card and apply the appropriate processing fee.

On Site Conference Registration Changes

There will be an express check-in line for all teachers who have a $0 balance (account paid in full) on or before July 7th.  You will simply come through the express line to pick up your name badge and conference materials.  Teachers that qualify for the express lane will be sent an email on July 8th notifying you that your conference materials will be in the express check-in line.

State Staff will register with their assigned Areas. For example, the South Region office will register with the Area 5 GVATA Director.  It will be based on the address of the office that you work in.

Conference Schedule

Click the link below for the tentative conference schedule.  We will offer a meal function each day of the conference for registered participants.  The awards luncheon will continue on Monday, a social event with dinner will take place on Tuesday evening and a breakfast will be available at the closing session on Wednesday morning. A separate registration link will be sent to attend the Tuesday evening dinner as we get closer to the conference.

Awards Recognition

Please complete the following form for any of the award categories below.    

Teacher of Teachers – Recognizes Agriculture teachers who have taught one of more of their former students and who has completed at least one year of teaching Agriculture Education.

30 Minute Club – The NAAE encourages and recognizes members who have dedicated at least thirty minutes in preparing articles and/or photos for publication in media that has distributed beyond the recipient's state borders with the Thirty Minute Club Award.  The articles and/or photos must promote agriculture education, agriculture, and/or education.

First Year Teacher’s Scholarship – If you had a student teacher this year, please remind them about the First Year Teacher’s Scholarship.  The due date is July 1st.  The application can be found using the following link.

Tifton Hotel Reservations

GVATA has contracted with the Williams Hotel Group for hotel rooms in Tifton during the conference.  Please use one of these 5 hotels when booking your lodging.  You will need to mention you are with the GVATA Summer Conference when booking your room to receive that group rate.
