Area Officer Boards and Booths
Each year, 48 students are elected from across our state to serve as Area FFA Officers. You will see these officers at events throughout the year, and they are the ones responsible for putting on the FFA Day at the Fair program. Prior to the start of the program, area officers will be stationed throughout the floor and concourse of Reaves Arena at an informational board with topics ranging from horticulture, livestock, forestry, ag mechanics, etc... As you plan to attend FFA Day at the Fair, I hope that you will encourage your students to visit each of these boards. In addition to these boards, representatives from various colleges such as UGA, ABAC, and Fort Valley State University will be set up.
