Purpose
The Proficiency Award program is designed to encourage students to strengthen their Supervised Agriculture Experience program. It should also provide teachers a motivational tool and incentive program.

Any student who is a paid FFA member is eligible to participate in the Proficiency Award program. Members may apply for up to one year after high school graduation if they have completed at least three full years of agricultural education or have completed all the agricultural education offered in the school last attended.
