Virtual Learning Journey: Georgia Forests I

Take your 3rd-6th grade students on an interactive journey through the working forests of Georgia to learn about forest ecosystems, food webs, and life cycles, as well as forestry management processes, career opportunities, and much more. Key concepts are presented through text, images, videos, 360º tours, and interactive elements. All content is aligned to Georgia Curriculum Standards and includes a free teacher toolkit with worksheets and printable resources.

Virtual Learning Journey: Georgia Forests II

In this interactive journey, students in grades 7-12 will explore and navigate through forestry topics such as operations and products, sustainability, and recreation and wildlife. Additionally, students will learn about carbon footprints, lifecycles, economy, human needs, forestry management processes and career opportunities. The curriculum is aligned to CTAE Performance Standards and Forestry Management Georgia Standards of Excellence and includes a free teacher toolkit with worksheets and printable resources.

Make that Paper: Careers in Forestry

This online scenario-based educational game is developed for grades 9-12 and teaches students about working forests and real-world forestry jobs by simulating workplace scenarios where students apply forestry science knowledge to select the optimal solutions and make the best decisions. The game is designed to help high school students learn not only about the forestry industry but also about career employability skills. This game is aligned to CTAE Performance Standards and Forestry Management Georgia Standards of Excellence.
