Convention Career & Trade Show
The Georgia FFA Association will host a Career & Trade Show on Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24.

Living to Serve Projects at State Convention
Living to Serve opportunities will be available during the day Wednesday, April 22, Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace
- Offsite on Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday April 23
- FFA members and advisors build bunk beds for children in cooperation with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization.
- Goal is to build 40 beds
- Chapters can donate bedding, blankets and sheet sets as well
Rebuilding Macon
- Offsite on Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday April 23
- FFA members and advisorspressure wash and paint houses, clean up yards and remove overgrown trees/shrubbery and trash at low-income homes in cooperation with Rebuilding Macon
- Goal is to repaint 6 houses
Middle GA State University.
- Offsite on Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday April 23
- FFA members and advisors perform landscaping tasks on the campus of Middle Georgia State University.
Meals of Hope
- Onsite in the Career Show on Thursday afternoon, April 23 (3 different shifts) and Friday , April 24 (3 different shifts)
- FFA members and advisors will pack meals
- The finished meal boxes can be taken home by the local chapters who serve, to contribute to their local hunger needs or will be given to the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank in Macon.
- Goal is to pack 100,000 meals
- We need 70 students for each of the six shifts (420 FFA members total)

State Convention Workshops

Workshops include: visiting state officers from Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee, a National FFA Officer, Teach Agriculture Institutions, and the U.S. Army.
Check times and rooms for workshops that are exclusive to middle school FFA members.

Teach Ag Georgia (TAG) Workshop

There will be a Teach Ag Workshop during the Georgia FFA State Convention on Friday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. in Ballroom C. This workshop is designed to be interactive, engaging, and student-focused, providing an inside look at what it means to be an agriculture teacher. Students will hear from current agricultural education majors, participate in activities, and explore the many opportunities and impacts that come with this profession.
We are asking you to:
- Promote the agriculture teaching profession for the state of Georgia;
- Nominate and encourage students who have an interest in becoming high school or middle school agriculture teachers;
- Support those students in attending this session at Convention;
- Complete the sign up:
