Purpose      
By participating in the Conduct of Chapter Meetings LDE students will be able to: 1) demonstrate correct use of the FFA Opening and Closing Ceremonies; 2) Demonstrate parliamentary procedure to conduct an orderly efficient meeting; 3) Communicate and participate effectively as a team member; and 4) Demonstrate critical thinking and teamwork for effective decision making.

Eligibility      
Any student in grades 6-9 who is a paid FFA member may participate. Each member must be a member of the chapter registering them, and each student’s name must appear on the chapter’s FFA roster at least 10 days prior to competition above the chapter level.

There is a national competition for this LDE; no student who is a member of another state winning team may compete and no member of the state winning Conduct of Chapter Meetings team is eligible to compete in another LDE until after the national competition.
