We are excited to announce the selection of the State Convention Ambassador Program participants. We are extremely grateful for each of the 26 applications that we received this year!
The list of selected participants is attached. These students and their advisors will receive more information about the Ambassador Program next week.

Attention Past State Officers! It's Reunion Time! You are invited to the Past State Officer Reunion on Friday, April 28th, at the Centreplex in Macon. The reunion will be held during the 95th Georgia FFA State Convention! All past stateofficers will be recognized during the Third General Session at 3:00 p.m. After the session, a reception and brief program will be held in Ballrooms A & B. The reunion will conclude by 7:00 p.m.

This year, we had over 70 applicants apply for our three post-secondary scholarship opportunities made possible by our generous donors who believe in investing in the future of our Georgia FFA members. The Georgia FFA Foundation is excited to announce the names of 13 members selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship to further their education. Congratulations to the members selected to receive a scholarship and to all of our 12th grade Georgia FFA members for their accomplishments!

The Georgia FFA Foundation would like to introduce you to the Commit to Ten Giving Program. Through this program, you commit to giving the dollar amount of your choice for ten months to the Georgia FFA Foundation. All proceeds from this giving program will support the 42,000 Georgia FFA members! Donations from this program will begin in August 2018 and will end in May 2019. All donations to the Georgia FFA Foundation are tax deductible.

FFA members must watch the movie, Deep in the Heart, and then submit an essay focused on a topic tied to discussion themes: Stewardship, Faith, Resiliency, FFA and 4-H. The program is open to any current FFA member in good standing. If the winner is not a graduating senior, the scholarship will be held in escrow until claimed. Essays must be submitted to the Georgia FFA Foundation by midnight February 17, by e-mail to kjones@gaaged.org or by mail, but they must be postmarked by February 17.

The Foundation is once again conducting its 10 for 10 Giving Program. You can give $10 for a month for 10 months for a total yearly contribution of $100. The purpose of serving as an ambassador is to escort and assist legislators, foundation donors, potential donors, judges, and other guests of honor while they attend convention. This creates an excellent opportunity for FFA members to tell their FFA stories and interact with supporters! Lasseter Equipment Group has again generously donated a John Deere zero turn mower for our Blue & Gold Gala raffle. This is a great fundraiser for the Georgia FFA Foundation. This is the only fundraiser where we ask chapters to help raise money for the Foundation. Each chapter is asked to sell at least 10 tickets. The drawing for will be held at the 9th Annual Blue & Gold Gala on Friday, March 11. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN! Cash prizes available for chapters who sell the most tickets.

Ag Technolgies, a sponsor of the Georgia FFA Foundation, is excited to host a cornhole tournament at this year's State FFA Convention on Thursday, April 23. Each chapter is eligible to enter one team consisting of two players. All participants will receive a t-shirt, and the tournament winners will receive a prize. The cost is $20 per team.
